There and back again lane

I ran downtown to see the fireworks the other day and has anyone seen the stringy kind of fireworks that look like Olafur Eliason's waterfall but falls from the sky? It's the most incredible thing. Also the other day, Megan and I ate a Jake's on 4th listening to MIDI version of the House of Rising Sun at midnight. Yesterday I went pushing logs in a lake with buddies and got a hangover from sleeping after drinking/swimming. I haven't been the same since. Today, the loveliest Megan made me an earring from a strawberry from our garden then I ate it. I'm sad to move out of this house this weekend. And tomorrow I start school!

Being in Olympia with no school is amazing. I get to work starting next week and after three weeks, I get to be in the South for a bit. I got sad yesterday and made this drawing of my favorite place ever. I'm reading this mindfreaking book by Hockney and starting a photo project with kale leaves and bubbles called Kale Leaves and Bubbles.
